Community mental health care is becoming increasingly popular in many countries. However, there is still a big gap between the knowledge we have about outreach, effective treatment, and recovery oriented care, and what is actually implemented.
European Assertive Outreach Foundation's (EAOF) next conference will be in Copenhagen, June 23 – 25, 2025. The theme of the conference is ”Closing the gap in psychiatric care for people with serious mental illness”.
At the conference, inspiring lectures will update on recent achievements and challenges, and we invite participants to present data and experiences and use the opportunity to discuss with colleagues from all over the world.
Denmark will be an inspiring country to host the conference, in alignment with Denmark’s “10-year plan” for psychiatric reform – including a substantial increase in budget – , and the development of a detailed treatment framework for individuals with serious mental illness.
